Thats too funny Musky,.. I laughed so hard that my gum flew outta my mouth and stuck to the monitor.

I don't understand why you put the target there, it should be on his butt cause thats where I usually hit 'em. :D

Better check your knot, that noose seems pretty loose. :D :) :D

Dang , I guess I am a horrible person. I smoke, have an old truck that uses ALOT of gas, it burns oil, have a 2 stroke lawn mower, 2 stroke weed eater, 2 stroke hedge trimmer, an old outboard that looks like a freight train when it running.

I guess on Saturday, when Im headed to the lake with cagarette in hand while running my gas hog, I will think about this post.

PS, I dont throw my butts in the water though. Have a can in the boat.

Say, Ken.

As a nicotine addict I can really identify with your feelings. I only smoke 3 to 5 a day, now, but I object to political correctness junk, too.

I do have a problem with your topic title, though. It says more to me than you mean to say, sort of as if it was posted by Mercey.

Could you edit it to be more to your point, without taking on all of us USA citizens?

Thanks. :)

new yorkers are direct...
at least you know where we stand.
agree it's not a title that you want the general
public to see when they log on. glad I'm not in
charge of deciding...
if'n I was, I'd let it stand on it's own feet.
my .02,
M.Y.

Uh.........yeah.

Mellow, I would be a millionaire if you gave me 2cents everytime you gave your 2cents worth. ;)
Us redneck "Hoosiers" can be direct also.

The title of this post is still uncalled for.
I have a problem seeing cowards and U.S.A. in the same sentence. Must have different feelings out there on the east coast. I am just speaking from a midwestern point of view, or what you might call, "The Heartland".

Do we really want to start debating freedom of speech now?

JB,

You are right, I did go overboard a little.

Sorry to anyone I offended, but I still believe in what I posted, but for the sake of this forum I have changed the title of this post.

I think it now still gets my point across without being as offensive.

Sometimes, when the rights and privliges that are provided to me by the Constitution are violated and no one seems to care, I just lose control sometimes and say things that may not be as thought out as they should have been.

Kenny

I used to smoke . It's a nasty habit. I wish that it was totally illegal. Pot is illegal, cigarettes are as bad as if not worse than pot smoke. And all this bi*ching about "your rights" There ar muc much worse things than "Smokers Rights" you should be worrying about. Oh and your comment about "Land of the cowards" I dare you to go say that to a Marine.

I said what I meant mellow, like I always do.

I thought we were all having a debate here. I am just giving my 2 cents worth. If I have upset anyone, then I apologize, that was not my intention.

Now, as we say here in the friendly midwest....."You have a nice day". :)

Re: Land of the Oppressed

Boy this thread headed down the toilet quick.... too bad becuase it is an important topic that goes way beyond smoking. Some see that and some don't. It is about private property rights. It is about freedom of choice. It is about stoping the errosion of our freedoms on all fronts.

Star, when you served, as I did, you put you life on the line for freedom. All freedom. Not just the ones you happen to like.

Re: Land of the Oppressed

Our freedom is slowly being taken away and most people dont ever see it. more so after 9/11 in the name of security. Big brother is not only watching ...he is steping on all of us we will all be sheep in no time at all if things keep going like they are. here in florida it is illeagle to smoke in a mobil home due to fire hazzard so where would i go to smoke if not in public and not in my home. Think about this...it is illeagle to kill my self the gov. will stop me if they can ..for my own good I have no right to die But the gov. can send our troops any where in the world and put them in harms way and they do this with a loss factor that they see as OK. (to meet the needs of a personal grudge) I am afraid that by the time people do some thing about all of this it will be to late

Re: Land of the Oppressed

I still severely disagree with some of the comments on this thread,.......but thats ok, thats what makes this country great, everyone has a right to their own opinion. If I ever get to the point where I am not ok with this, then I will move out of this country.

I think the horse is dead.
