    gear case seals in a 1954 10hp Johnson

    I want to replace the seals in the gear case in a 1954 10hp Johnson. What is the best way to remove the old seals? They do not come out very easy. I will replace the water pump while I'm there and want to make sure I get in correctly. Doesn't it turn clockwise? Thanks, Gary

    '69 6hp will not keep fuel pressure

    I have a 1969 6hp Johnson. It starts find and runs for a while before it stalls out. To keep it running I need to apply pressure about every 30 seconds to the fuel tank bulb. I know the fuel tank works as I use it on other Johnson motors with no problems. Is this a fuel pump problem? Gary
