    replace internal harness this morning. i have 4, white w/ red tracer, wires left over. another question the gray wire to the Choke does not work solenoid , solenoid is good as i have had a temp push button on dash. new old stock controller and harness. thanks bob

    71" 1350 my maiden voyage, successful

    thanks to all of you for the info. 79 18' Bonita w/ the 1350. after setting idle at the dock (know i would have to) it ran great. good idle and jump out of the hole in a second. ran for about 2 hours, at all speeds. Damn i'm happy. going to install new internal wiring harness this weekend...

    took a dunk today

    taking 79 Bonita, 71 merc 1350 restored on maiden voyage. went to load (windy) walked the tongue standing in the Y. trying to line up, slipped and took a dunk. it's getting guide ons tomorrow. by the way maiden voyage was great.

    this motor does not have a lifting eye. what is the easy way to lift this motor?

    just acquired 1350 questions

    place to look up serial # 31177071, year etc. it will run, but gas flowing out of top carb. haven't had a tower of power in 25 years, please give me some advice. i need control cables, battery cables, manual choke cable is broke, and no choke solenoid. this is just for starters.
